Seleta and I went to a 2-day Brooks Institute workshop on the "Art of Portraiture" taught by Joyce Wilson. On Saturday in the afternoon, we worked with 6 models (either Brooks students, aspiring models, or family members of the instructor) ranging from 15-22 years-old and then a family, fixed them up, and had them critiqued on Sunday. Joyce thought Seleta's photographs were so good, she couldn't believe Seleta had only been shooting for about a year. Seleta also got lots of applause for her work. Here's a few of her photos.
