Another Day of Rain

There wasn't an update last night quite simply because I was tired. But here's the latest juicy gossip on our favorite little hero. Wednesday we went to Mark's house for dinner with him and his girlfriend of two-years (no, that's not a typo). As you can see, it's an ugly house surrounded by ugly trees and so forth... If only I had the time to see his cabin in the woods...

I'm sure in the 80 (or 90) degree weather this doesn't look appealing to you, but imagine how comfortable the little bugger looked wrapped in his blanket when it was in the low 40's and either snowing, hailing, or raining outside...

The kid is serious 'bout his blue-boo's...

Dinner at a thai noodle place: Tao Noodles.

Friday, Ian and I visited the Pacific Science Center and had a blast. We didn't see nearly all of it so we may all go again tomorrow (Sunday).

What a mug.

We also visited the Sci-Fi museum on Wednesday. It was pretty good - even though the squeaky-voiced kid from The Simpsons tried to yell at me for tearing out the coupon out of the City Pass book "without permission." I also couldn't take photos, so here's a few. The one of the Enterprise is from the episode of "The Trouble with Tribbles." It was the model that could be seen outside the spacestation window.
There's also a photo of Twiggi from Buck Rogers and Muffit from the original Battlestar Galactica.

And here's a photo of Ian and I in front of the original Starbucks... Just within walking distance of another Starbucks. In fact, from the Monorail station to Pike Street (only 3-4 blocks), you pass 5 Starbucks and one lonely Seattle's Best. Like Rob Schneider from that SNL episode, "Coffee. Coffee, coffee, coffee, coffee!"
After Seleta's class on Friday (her last class was a partial day on Saturday), the whole class met at Anthony's Pier 66 restaurant for a sunset dinner. Of course, you had to order before 6pm and sunset isn't until 8pm up here... and it also either rained, hailed, or snowed the entire time. Detect a trend yet?
Until tomorrow...we hope everyone is having a great week!
